Expanding my options.

Since I was in high school I never thought school was that bad, I have always felt like I was a pretty good student and although not the best student I try'd my best. one thing for sure school was so much easier prior to having children, but now school is not an option it is a requiorment. I had my children at a young age, I was only seventeen. It wasnt just one baby it was two, and from the day I found out I was having them I knew school was a must. I was not finnished with high school when I had them and tried many alternate schools; one being a school for pregnant teen mothers, and one's with children, that didnt work out so well when I got put on bed rest. Then around the time they were four months old I tried night school, that was cut short when it was hard to get a sitter. So finally I knew I had to just get it over with. I got my GED in all of two weeks, and I got it in 2008 the year my class graduated. When my kids were around one I got my CNA, certified nursing assistant, & I am currently working at UK hospital. Without my GED I could not have as good of a job as I do, and It would have been much hared to provid for my two children. I love school and I always say If I could get paid to go to school I would stay forever. even though it's alot hared with my to baby's and a job to work around, I now know it's a life essental. And I want to help my children understand how school can put you so much further ahead in life, & with an education there are many things that can not be accomplished.

school money vs. shopping

I have always been good about spending money and then I grew up a little and this amazing thing happened, money comes in large amounts. One thing I can not resist is buying things for my kids, so when my school money came in all I thought about was ways to spend it and not spend it. Well I tried to do the right thing and I spent half on school half on them. But who knew that kid toys were so expensive? A pincess outfit $20, and one toy hot wheel was $5. And when you go shopping for your babies you cant help but go all they way, and get any and everything thing that they look at. But after this shopping trip I realized I need to stay in school, and reach my goal of becomming a nurse.
